The Youth
Group is growing in number and in Spirit! In December, we
sold Chick-Fil-A calendars and used the proceeds to adopt a
family. We went shopping as a group and enjoyed the
fellowship! We also went to the Baptist Church one evening
to watch the movie Fireproof." Right now we are planning a
ski trip February 13th-15th in Gatlinburg. We are also
making plans for our weekend retreat to Camp Glisson in
March. We will be having our annual Spaghetti Supper on
Saturday, February 7th to raise money for both trips.
Tickets are $6 for adults, and $4 for children 3-12. Take
out begins at 5:30 and Dine in is from 6-7:30. You may call
Gary if you have not purchased your tickets or if you would
like to sponsor a youth for one of our Spiritual Retreats.
The Colbert United Methodist Youth meet at the Family Life
Center every Sunday night at 6:00 for fun and devotions!
Please invite any youth you know (in 6th-12th grade!) Thank
