HAMPTON CLASS

Our class wishes each of you a Happy and prosperous New Year and assume you have now made your resolutions for the year 2009, and I believe some have made weight loss as your top priority for health sake, so blessed are those who hunger and thirst as they are sticking to their New Year's resolution diet. However, diet and exercise are the weapons of mass reduction in regards to weight. Different exercise equipment is available in order to help you lose weight. Some records the steps you take, the calories you burn and etc. I recommend a machine that records the number of bites we take each meal. I am now avoiding diet drinks as I only see overweight people drinking them. One lady told me that her husband forgot and left the toilet seat up and she didn't fall in so he has put her on a diet.

We wish Evelyn Parham a "Happy Birthday" on February 22 and hope she will be able to return soon as she continues to be in our prayers. Vivian Rhodes tells us she will return soon. Bless you Vivian.

We give "Thanks" to class member Jack Scaffe for all the maintenance he continues to do for the church property and buildings. Lois asked him when he was going to retire and he replied, "You mean going to bed?"

Our class is planning another outing for lunch and visit to a shut-in very soon.
We all enjoy our Sunday School class as we have good lessons, outings and fellowship together.

We feel you are never too old to learn more about the Bible and God's blessings we receive daily.

Keep smiling and laughing as both are a tranquilizers with no side effects.

Joe
