BROOKSHIRE CLASS

Our Sunday School Class continues to be active in our church activities; church missions and in our personal lives. We have been having good attendance and good lessons.

Rita and Donald have not been well recently. Donald is having medical problems. We miss Jerrie Teet being with us. She has been with her parents helping with their care. Crystal has been in Florida with her son's family. Her daughter in law is having some serious health problems. It has been such a joy seeing Barbarianne at morning worship a couple of Sundays recently. Our prayers continue with her and her family. Barry will be having foot surgery in Gwinnet County on Thursday. We pray for complete success and safety in their travel. Bill will also be having some medical tests this week. We pray for good results with those. We pray for Beth Scott and her family. Our class extends heartfelt sympathy to Chuck Branson and family.

We congratulate Ahmed on his retirement recently from Southwire in Watkinsville. He and Brenda went to Virginia Beach to celebrate for a week. We are glad they are home safe and sound.

Some outreach ministries include two sunshine baskets: Blaze Mason (Barbarianne's grandson) has been sick and David (Lydia's nephew) had surgery and an extended rehabilitation. We pray both of these little ones will be out and about real soon. We signed up to purchase two table dollies for our Family Life Center. We gave a love gift to Michelle Scott to help with expenses to attend National Youth Leadership Forum Medicine Seminar to be held at Emory University next year. We also remembered Joan Busbin (Lance's Mom) who had three surgeries on one knee and thigh within two weeks time. She is home now with a long recovery time ahead. We pray for complete healing. We also helped another family with their light bill.

We thank Jack for painting the porch and carport floor at the parsonage. We appreciate Jack and Lois for all they do for God's work here at CUMC. The flowers in the front of the church are so beautiful and we thank Jack and Lois for the upkeep on them.

Bill Ashley joined the choir recently. Now we are waiting on Janet to follow. :) We appreciate so much all that Suzanne does with our finances and Barbara  and Linda for their sending cards.

We continue to seek out persons in need and do what we can to help them. We welcome visitors anytime.
